Hello all, I just bought a NSR 50 yes it has a 50cc and yes I know that's crap but I live in Ireland and there is only 1 insurance company that will insure under 25's so you as can expect the insurance rates are massive.

Well to get to the point, I want to find some info on the bike a workshop manual or something similar. I noticed on this site that there is really good diagrams of the NSR 250. Any chance of getting the same thing for the NSR 50?

If none of that is possible anybody know anything I can do to this little engine to get it to go faster. It has already been derestricted so what’s next?

Still, there has to be an exception to every rule!!

Back to the topic though, I had an e-mail just this week from another NSR50 owner, so I am looking out for some bits and pieces and info. Don't hold your breath though, it's not like I don't have anything else to do right now!

If you find out anything yourself, or want to write NSR50 content and submit it to the Site, then I will happily consider it. Anything you do, rebuild the top-end, change the clutch, tune it etc., just write it down and take lots of photos!

I'd love a little NSR50/80 (wouldn't stay 50 for long!!) to mess around with!
