I might be picking up my new MC21 tomorrow. The bike has not been started in a couple years. I was advised to do a teardown and seal replacement before attempting to run it. Is this good advise or overkill?

Its not how fast you go...Its how you go fast.
Everyone says the crankseals die if left alone but every grey will have spent years in a container anyway so who knows?
I'd fire it up and see how it goes........... _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
Personally, I'd strip and clean the carbs, flush the fuel tank, gearbox, and two stroke oil tanks through, then rebuild / refill and ride it. _________________ MC21SP Plaything
