As Halfords do a good range of motorbike bits this might be of some help to those who use Halfords
Halfords trade discount card,How to get one!
You need to take your Driving licence and a wage slip. The wage slip needs to say on it that your employer is a garage, for those who dont work at a garage then make up a wage slip on the computer and print it off,Its best to put that the garage you work for is a local one and one that the brain deads that work there will say"oh yes I know were that is"
Take your Licence and wage slip to any Halfords and go to the service counter(not the tills)and ask for an trade card, fill in a simple form and they give you a card.
You can use it on all their products expect push bikes and car audio(but our local one has let us use it on audio ).You can get up to 70% discount on some items.
I hope this is of some help, just think cheap 2 stroke oil, gear oil, chain lube, brake pads, tool's,battries and what ever else they sell that you might need for you bike.
Seriously, The way i work and the work i do, All i ever get is a tax bill from my accountant telling me how much i owe!! He great dose everything for me!!! i supose he could make one up for me!!! Will a VAT number/cert not do the same job or do you have to be in the garage/workshop trade.... to get the discount?
im gona, for sure thats a good offer i always by my oil from halfords no else round here stocks it..... and i can see me buying some of there tools too!
OK, next bit of advice we need is how to get them to charge our purchases to the garage we've named on the wage slip. _________________ Warning:
