I know this has probably been brought up before, and I'm probably opening a can of worms. I need to buy a new exhaust system soon because most have a 4-6 week leed time so I'm looking for opinions on what I should get. I was thinking about getting a Jolly Motor carbon set from Apex Leisure. Opinions? _________________ james

How long have you got? Which model? How much can you spend? What's up with the standard ones?
Most guys go with TYGA stuff. Good quality, and well priced. _________________ MC21SP Plaything

I have time. I would rather do the right thing than make a regretful decision. Nothing wrong with the stock system. Just want a litle more power and a litle less weight...and a little more trick.I figure most the aftermarket systems are probably about the same. Also: I don't want to spend a total fortune. _________________ james

Any suggestions for Japanese models? Tyga didn't exactly look cheap. _________________ james

Ive Got Tyga's and they are very Light, and V Cheap, Price a set of Jollys and youll see how cheap. The only thing i would change is i bought Ali cans with mine £15 each if you buy the system as well, but i should have paid the extra and gone carbon!!!
DOH, did it again. THe JM price I was looking at was in pounds, not dollars. Now I have to rethink this. _________________ james

TYGA ones are superb, cheap and weigh about as much as a cigarette paper. _________________ If you dont like the way that i ride.....Stop trying to keep up!!!!!
As discussed previously, the standard Honda pipes make very good power across the rev range.
They are heavy, and maybe don't look as trick as aftermarket, but they do at least produce excellent power.
Cheapest option is to replace the end cans only, giving you a trick look and slight weight saving, whilst keeping the stock chambers for their power and free-ness! _________________ MC21SP Plaything

I've got M Max race pipes on my '28SP, I think they're japanese but can't find 'em on the web. They sound great, they are few kg's or so lighter than the originals, and they work very well - my bike has no other tuning and it will fly past 180 kph where the digital speedo stops, probably tops out at ~ 200 kph (125mph) on the current gearing.
What about HRC pipes or cans? Has anybody seen them? _________________ james
