Kinda short notice for me since the bike is totally apart right now. I don't know that I would want to risk it anyway since I'll have allot of money into it. I was just thiking of buying a RS250 for track days if I start doing it again.

I would love to do a Track day with some other NSR's but California is a little far for me, especially at $3 a gallon for my truck Shocked

Note to all UK readers before the "you don't realise how lucky your are" hijacking takes place... yes, we know $3 a gallon is only £1.79 per UK gallon, so don't go there!! Rolling Eyes

trackday

Fri May 19, 2006 4:16 am » Post: #9 » Download Post

Well John,

I exactly know how u feel ..being the only NSR at the event. I have been doing that for the last 5 trackday events. Steve should be ready now. I am always ready for trackday and looking forward to meet more NSR riders here in the US.

Please talk to Steve about it.

Thank you

Sam

Ye but us Americans know you Brits all get a stipend from the government to drink beer at the corner pub so it all evens out in the end. That and your country's only so big. It's not like you can spend four days driving from one side to the other Smile

So we should look into the south east for a track day.

Four days driving would put me in Russia or Africa! South of France is only 24 hours away...

I just dont have the funds to travel that far.

I will be hitting Spokane Raceway Park if I can, and I have signed up for the 2006 Seattle 100 fund raiser at Pacific Raceway. Speaking of which, anyone want to help by donating to the fund raiser? http://www.2-fast.org/seattle-100.html

I think it's cheap cause you get to share it with the cows Smile

My plan is to actually do the USGPRU race at Barber in the summer as my first race out here. Time seem to be hard to come by with a new house. Of course that new house has enough property for a small flat track Smile

Buttonwillow sounds like it can fun. Right there in the middle for us cali guys. The southeast sounds cool but i'd have to cut into some vacation time there. I think we need a concensus.
