I'm sorry if my english too bad but i'm got something mystery
i've got 12 yearolds MC21 and she need to overhual engine is MC16E 1213024 and there's no GPS connector from gearbox
there's grey GPS connector from wiring loom but I can't find anything looklike GPS'swire from the case . there only pulse generator ,stator and neutral wire .
would the PGM work properly if GPS connector isn't connected? , do I need some modification to make the system really work?
I'm now try to find some bike for my trackday and I'm really novice for NSR
Very thanks for every suggestion..
Hi Blackbunny. Where in the world are you from? We like to know how big our NSR world is!
Do you have the TPS (throttle position sensor) on the right hand side of the carburettors? _________________ MC21SP Plaything

The GPS should be down by the Gear change shaft! on the engine case, if its a mc21 and its not there you will see a hole where it should be or a small plate with a bolt and the wires will be cutt, If you find it and its broken or missing, PM me i have a spare!
yes.. there's TPS sensor and everything MC21 should have but no GPS from engine I guess it's not a MC21 motor . do the orther model of NSR has GPS?
By the way , I'm in north of Thailand (same country with matt) and came across this site when i find something to get me down the track.. and my choice is NSR
Hmmm. What shape are the barrels? _________________ MC21SP Plaything

Could be an MC18 or MC28 bottom-end - neither of those have a GPS, but both have a TPS.
The GPS is just a 6 position switch that earths (grounds) the wire corresponding to the gear you are in. If you cannot retro-fit an GPS for any reason, I suggest grounding the 3rd gear wire so the PGM "thinks" it's in 3rd gear all the time!
There is an MC21 wiring diagram for you to follow in the Workshop section. _________________ Andy.
