USA / California trackday

Sun Jul 16, 2006 1:41 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

I would like to see if we can get some NSR/ 2-stroke owners together for a trackday. I picked trackdays that fell on a Saturday or Sunday. If you are in California or USA and would like to go please pick the best day for you so we can get it going. If you want more info on the orginizers of the events use the links below. I think Button Willow would be the best option for Northern and Southern California.

I think club desmo is running buttonwillow on labor day and the day after,
sept. 4 and 5. We could claim a garage and declare it NSRs only.....

Well Scott,

Do you prefer Street of Willow or Button Willow? I personally like the Street of Willow on 9/4/06. It is closer to all of us too.

Are you in for 9/4/06?

9/4 sounds good to me Button Willow sounds like fun I haven't been there yet. Now if some of the Northern Cal. NSR guys would chime in. We should spread the word to any 2-strokers out there that want to do a trackday.

Buttonwillow is a fun track on a 250. Just the right amount of corners, with the perfect length straights. I have been on it more times than my body has digits to count with.

if your doing it with ClubDesmo you will be happy. Mark and his wife put on an excellent event. Food is great, people that show up there are nice, and mellow.

Have fun and tell Mark I said Hi.

Oh Ye, maybe ya'll get lucky and the girl who undresses in the pits will show up Wink Had to figure out how to watch that without the girl friend catching me Shocked

I've run on both circuits many times. I know all the cracks/bumps/ruts of Streets very well but I like Buttonwillow more now. The Riverside sweeper is a 5th or 6th knee down corner. If I remember correctly, a former lister proved that the RGV can fly at buttonwillow! Ok, who's in???!!!!! Can the NSR fly????
