Hey Charles, did you have the NSR stickers made that are on the red '91 MC21? I'm looking to buy some or have them made. Kinda like McDoohan had on his late NSR500's.
I'll answer this one on Charles's behalf, as I know he's a busy man at work!
His fairings were supplied by TYGA Performance, ready painted and stickers applied.
TYGA no longer do paintwork as there were too many issues of damage during shipping, but if you contact Paul I am pretty confident he can supply laser cut stickers to your requirements.
TYGA's stickers are multi-layered (each colour is a separate "film") so you will need to have a clearcoat lacquer sprayed over the finished fairing to give a clean look.
Alternatively, in SoCal, give Apex Moto a call. They not only do a lot of replica paintwork/stickers, but also deal with a lot of NSR customers in the US.
Please mention NSR-WORLD.COM if you contact either company.
Actually, I think Sean was asking about my old race bike. The red one that I got new Corin fairings for, and painted up.
The "NSR" logo's on the side of that bike (the large ones) I hand cut. I pulled a stencil off an old set of fairings, cut out the new logos from some vinyl material, and applied it to the fairings.
Was a good amount of work, but when all was said and done, it looked really good.
Tyga can supply you with those side decals. I own the bike that you are talking about (Charles' old bike). When I bought it I took all the decals off and registered and repainted it. I did 95' HRC colors with the same decals.
Turned out nice..
