Chaps, who was the guy at Llandow with the Brazilian YPVS? Adrian from Classic Bike (the one with the A-reg YPVS) needs to know so that he can mention him in his story about the trackday that's appearing in the mag.

Cheers
Jim
I think it was a friend of one of our TDR group. I shall try to find the details and pass them on...

The guy on the RD350R was a friend of Roy's (Black TDR with Lomas pipes). I have sent Roy an e-mail asking his friend to look on here and contact Jim.
Speedy Mickmouse ? Yes, he is rather rapid, and smooth with it; very impressive. Is he on Holiday or something ? The guys on the TDR forum mentioned that no one had heard from him since Saturday...
Mr Mickmouse is off camping with his family til early next week. We`re both up for Llandow next year, the 250LC should have grown into a 350 by then. Still no chance of keeping up with him on the twisties though
Lucky you were only taking your unbustable bikes fairing off then not your leathers Warwick as I'm not sure any of us could of coped with the other. _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...
It was only when he was riding my 18 that he got his Brazillian ,it must have been something about the crank still working when he gave my bike back to me that got him all excited
Yup. I really am never going to live that one down am I
However, due to a days industry and a bit of motor canibalisation, the 3XV will hopefully be rising from it's slumber by tomorrow night with a temporary crank (and a dry clutch for good measure too as I've pinched the whole motor from one of the others - an RS model ). As the original was trouble free for a whole 15 years I'd imagine that the borrowed one will see me through the rest of the summer, allowing me to put the other motor back together with an SP crank when I can find one (3XV's are quite like the NSR's really - The SP was the homologation bike for Jap proddy racing and was therefore designed to cope with the YEC/Sugo race Kit parts - YEC being the Yam equivalent of HRC. SP crank uses TZ webs).
Meanwhile the MC21 still won't tickover properly... I ought to try a new intake rubber really - anyone know how much they are off the top of their heads? If that doesn't do it then it looks like I'll be getting involved with the Honda crank too. It's like busses, innit. Never had a crank out in 20 odd years of biking , now I'm pulling 'em out right, left and centre (bearings)
