I'm pretty sure my suspension has never been overhauled since it left the factory in '92
, so I'm going to pull it for a rebuild. (Pentax SP mc21)
Question is - What parts should I be ordering for the build? Is it a worthwhile thing to put the 'R' model springs in it? or other? or stock SP best?
I weigh 70-72kg's with all my gear on, height 5'11". Can I assume that the recommended HRC specs, abait, with a 12.5W oil, will do the trick?
With the rear unit, is it a safe assumsion that I should give it to a suspension builder to overhaul? What should they be doing to overhaul this rear unit?
