NSRG500 PROJECT

Sun Aug 27, 2006 7:21 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

hi guys!i was thinking...or dreaming... every nsr owner likes the idea to have a 500cc nsr that can be rideable.so is there a chance in bolting the engine of RG500 onto our nsr's without destroying the bike?

If I had a RGV250 then I would have to fit an RG500 engine to it. I like Honda's though so I couldnt distroy one by fitting a suzuki motor to it, even though a 500 would be good fun.

There was one ( an MC21 in white & Blue) on the RGV500 forum, but I cant seem to find it now Embarassed

It looked pretty stock except for the 2 extra pipes poking out the back where the tail lights are.

what do you think about an v-due engine?
I think it would be easier to fit it because its a v2, too.

I dont think it comes anymore extreme than an rs motor does it. (starts thinking of trying to source an NSR500 V-Twin motor Rolling Eyes )

i believe the 300kit is better to an rs motor.and both are worst to a 500 motor.it would be cool to have the racing V2 500 but cant be done!so an rg or rd motor would be fine...

No disrespect to Matt or TYGA, but no 300 kit is ever better than a full-on RS motor! An RS motor IS a GP motor!

As Steve says you`ve got to maintain them like a GP engines too.

The 300 is better for most people.

Hasn`t quite got the bar room pose factor though.
