They're several makers of kits to do this. "kreem" is one of them. Your local motorcycle shop can provide this product for you. Be prepared for it to take the better part of the day to sort the job as there are several steps involved.

Kreem is only the coating. To clean the tank use hydrochloric acid (pool/driveway cleaner). Follow the directions that come with the tank sealer kit. Do this outdoors or you'll be sorry.

Wrong. Kreem is the name of the kit. It comes with acid to remove rust. It is a 3 step process. I have used this product many times in the past.

I sell the Kreem kit here, but I really dont like the stuff. It tends to peel off over time and clog petcock/filters. When I need to get my rusty tank cleaned, I used www.rusteco.com . Its a bit expensive but its guaranteed and there are no crazy films in the tank.

i went to the site and it looks too good to be true! i guess i will be giving it a try. waiting for my limit to lift and i will be getting a gel and liquid pack. how long does it hold up? i mean how long would i have to wash it again? does it return the tank to new condition?

The best job I've ever had done (if you do not care to much for the paint) I had a radiator shop boil a tank out for me once, amazing results Smile
