eBike Insurance...

Wed Sep 13, 2006 1:45 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

NSR-WORLD now has a UK partnership with eBike Insurance.

This unique online insurer is used by a couple of members of the Forum already, and is possibly the most flexible and versatile insurance companies currently available!

Their system allows you to chop and change your insurance at will, for example adding riders to your bike for an afternoon's blast, or adding their bike to your insurance for the same purpose! Everything is handled online and policy changes are virtually instant.

Being as this is an online company only, overheads are kept to a minimum and therefore savings can be passed on to the policy holder, which usually means cheaper quotes!

Please check them out using the following link.

Motorbike insurance from eBike Insurance

They will also insure your "service" van and/or car!

Not only will you be looking at some of the most comprehensive and customisable insurance on the planet, but you will be helping NSR-WORLD at the same time!! Smile

How does it help the site Andy?

Do site users get any discount?

Cheers
Scott

Referals from the Site that get a quote earn points from the scheme, and the points are converted to money if the quote is converted to a policy. There will be incentives and deals at a later date too I am told, but the scheme is only in it's very early days.

The insurance is actually very competitive in most instances as it is an online venture only, so very low overheads. The policies are are extremely flexible, allowing you to include many modifications and extra bikes and/or riders.

I will be switching my policy to them when my current one ends, having seen first-hand how quick and easy it was to add a bike to a policy for a couple of hours for a ride-out recently!

As Leigh said they do multi bike .I have my 2005 R6 and both my 18's on the same policy with them and I added Stephens Blade for a few hours when I used it a few weeks ago and that only bummped the cost up by £14 for the year so it was about 1p for the 3 hours I had it insured Cool

For every 8 month's your insured with them you get a years no claims discount, you can down grade your policy so it just covers it being in the garage when its off the road.

Is that better, worse, or indifferent to your last quote Mick? Hoping it's better judging by the "ooohhh"... Smile

I'm currently paying £119 for the nsr alone so I'm pretty happy with that.

I agree it's a really simple, down to earth way of quoting. Unfortunately not as cheap as my renewal quote, which is £188.82 fully comp. Sad

If it was fully comp (the RC) they would write it off if I had an accedent, its insured for almost £18,000. The tank alone is worth more than the MC21 complete.

I would never insure an NSR fully comp, I would repair it myself if anything happened, lol and they arnt worth anything. Wink Very Happy
