MC28 keycard guestion

Mon Sep 18, 2006 11:31 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

I live in the US and was wondering what a stock card costs? I have the 030 card and it leaves me with no speedometer.

Your point being?

But seriously, if it's set up for the 030 card it will barely run on the std one.
If it's set up for the standard card it will run for about 60 seconds on the 030 then seize.

If you have the 030card, then you'll need to get one of those cycle speedo, but as Fontyy suggests who cares about the speed you're doing..... Seriously I've ridden which out a speedo on an old MC28 I had. In town I drove at the same speed as everyone else, and in the countryside I just gunned it everywhere.....oh how foolish we were in our youth.

I seem to remember that the rough speed can be calculated via the rev counter. I think 8000 rev equals 80mph, 9000 equals 90mph and so on.

Hope that helps.

You dont need to worry about a speedo, MC28's are so slow you wont break the law anyway...apparently! Wink

Or get one of these, it even does basic laptiming if you set it up properly.

I've had mine for about a month now, it's fully gps based so no messing with magnets and the like and it tracks your route and loads of other functions.
