Anyone fancy an offroad day ??

Sat Sep 30, 2006 8:08 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Does anyone fancy doing an offroad day?? the date is yet to be sorted but it will be toward's the end of October on either a Saturday or Sunday.
It will be at http://www.tonymotomx.com/tmmx/ which is just on the outskirts of Winchester(Just a few miles from were Jeff had his collage open day).If your intrested then we will be joining the boys from http://www.solentsupermotos.co.uk/ as Shaun who runs the site (He's a mate of Jeff350lc) can get the price down from £150 to £80 if he can get enough people to hire all the bikes.

The cost will be £80 for the day payable on the day,you just need to turn up in your underwear as they supply all the gear and fuel and they hand you a nice new Yamaha WR250.
You get out on the track at 10.30am stop for 30mins for lunch and finnish at 4.00pm.
You dont need to have any sort of car or bike licence or even be able to ride as they will teach you.
Wife's/kids can ride as well as they have Yamaha TTR's125 for the short arse's and Yamaha PW50's/80's for the kids.

Instructors will be on hand to give you tip's to improve your offroad riding(I found that even if you didn't want their advice you still got it Embarassed )

Let me know if you fancy it and I will pass you name on to Shaun.I already have 4 friends who will be joining me.

Here's a few pictures of me from yesterday

Here's some more pictures yesterday so you get a idea of what the place is like http://www.andy-yates.co.uk/tmoto/

And the answer to the question you all want to know is :- I fell off 3 times Rolling Eyes

The Tony Moto day is well worth the money. I did the first one that Shaun organised and it was great.
I must say that having now tried off roading, i,m in no hurry to try it again. Getting a bit too old for all this up and down sliding about shenanigans Laughing
I would say if you've never ridden on a motocross track, give it a go.
As for me! I'm sticking to a nice bit of smooth sticky mac.

Nice to see you were getting some big air over the jumps Wayne Laughing Laughing
Like i can talk.
Mind you 4 inches feels like 40 ft when its you on the bike Embarassed
