Jet Kit

Mon Oct 02, 2006 9:12 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Can anyone tell me if there are different HRC jet kits
for leaded/unleaded fuel? I read somewhere that there
is different part numbers for each. The part no. on my
kit bag is 16020-nkd-751. Would it be ok to run unleaded
feul in my mc21? Confused Cheers.

I never heard this. I know there was a different racing PGMIII for lead vs. unlead fuel.

Yes, there are different jet kits, but the difference is mainly in the needles, but I think the main jet range is different too, if I remember correctly. I think the leaded kit has jets down in the 170's, and the unleaded kit starts at 180.

Considering StephenRC45 runs an MC21 kit in his MC18 with the F3 barrels, I don't think it will effect you too much.

Of course, wisdom says "don't believe all that you read"!! Smile
