With a new dyno day in the making heres the leader board of proddie 250cc bikes. These are the best from Honda (including MC16, '18, '21 and '2, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki and Aprillia that have been tested on our dyno.
Now you know what you have to beat..... This should be easy for you WB!

Aprillia,
Ben Cockerals 2000 RS250 with Arrow full race system and moded air box. 62.1bhp

No, thats two we have never tested but would interesting to see how they match up to the others. _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...
mmmmm. Nice set of curves! So when's the new dyno day? I'd like to think with the mods we've recently made to the 3XV-R we could beat the other 3XV and the MC16 (what's going on there ). I'd like to run my MC21 up too, so that I can get an idea of where I need to go next with the Honda. It keeps giving me neglected little looks from under the 'blanket of shame' every time I pop into the mother-in law's garage. Must get it sorted in time for spring. It's actually a very pretty one and in very good nick really. But the motor just doesn't feel quite right. If only there were more hours in the weekend...
The '16 is held back by ickle carbs and even smaller exhaust ports... Both of which are easy to get around if you do a Jeff and fit '18 barrels and carbs.
Dyno day, you have a PM. _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...
If I posted all the graphs from each model I would have to post the worst ones as well, and some are some people dont like their graphs being laughed at for some reason _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...
Took my MC21 down to Chris at Road & Track Dyno at Aylesbury. It's putting out 62.2bhp with Tyga pipes, modded airbox and M-Max box .
I was quite chuffed considering that the engine hasn't been fettled with! _________________ Warning:

Do you have any Aprilia RS250, RG500, RD/Z350YPVS, NS4R ?
Lets have a stroker collection, there are not many strokers so it should be possible to get a complete selection, to help buying decision when we are considering buying that third, fourth or fifth 2 stroker ? _________________ Poul

MC21SE, KISS box
MC21SP, HRC box, racing loom
Any road up.....going back to the dyno graphs. I think that we need to throw out the F3 'cos we all know it's gunna kick ass
The RGV in second doesn't count because it's a Suzuki, and it's got the same sort of mods as Steve's F3 but it's 5 gee gees adrift, which is a rather poor showing
The Krapperkazi in 3rd is very impressive for a 200 year old parallel twin, but it's green so it doesn't count either. No one wants a green bike...seriously
