The last NSR-WORLD (UK) bash of the year...

Sun Oct 29, 2006 9:39 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

OK guys, I've provisionally booked the GT Performance dyno (and StephenRC45) for a last minute, end-of-season Dyno-Day and general "bash" for Saturday 11th November!

Question is, who would be interested in the usual fun and games over the weekend?

I can't guarantee a price jut yet, but the more the merrier!

Usual itinary:

Friday night on the town...
Saturday on the dyno all day...
Sunday ride-out to somewhere like north Devon.

Some accommodation available at Hotel A'lee on a first come, first served basis!

Please post here if you would like to attend.

So far we have the following attendees confirmed:

<update>

StephenRC45 (duh!) - MC21F3 & MC18SP
Me! - MC21SE
Fontyyy (like he'd ever miss out on anything!) - MC28SE
Racer38 - MC28SE & MC28/300
nsr.wayne - MC18SP
fenton - MC21R
martin77 - TDR250
elegy - RGV250VJ22 & RS300
wb - 3XV

</update>

Stephen and myself do not need dyno time, nor does Fontyyy I believe, although I think he'd like a power run just to see where his current jetting is, so there is still LOADS of setup time to distribute.

Again, it's set for Saturday 11th November, so you have about 2 weeks - but please don't wait until the last minute, as it's me who has to pay for this up front, and I can't afford to be a charity! If not enough people are interested, and post soon, then I will cancel it! Smile

Cheers,

Andy, Teve, if you're pushed for £££ (hmmm, we've seen that before eh? the old "one attendee" dyno day) we can chuck the '28 on the rollers, laugh at my "jetting" and see if Steve can get a barrel back. I'm not that bothered, figures, schmigures, the slowest thing on the bike is me.
I'll come down to make up numbers anyway, show you southerners how to ride, drink, treat a "lady" and maybe make an old acquaintance if she's up for it too Cool

I'm in. The 3XV definitely needs a run on the roller. I'd like to bring the NSR along too to see where it's at/get some pearls of wisdom on set-up from more seasoned NSR owners. Do we pay per bike or per attendee?

Can't do the Friday thing due to other commitments, but I'd be up for a run out on the Sunday.

Cheers

As long as you have a sense of humour, then the more the merrier!!* Wink

*Don't worry guys, I'm not going soft! I have it on good authority (and I've read the posts) that an NSR, or at least some 250/2-stroke, is on the shopping list some time! He should be well and truly converted by the end of the weekend!! Very Happy

LOL! Very Happy yes been tempted in by Fontyyys NSR.....mmmmmm....

also once abused the works pool car, by driving it from Derby with my mate down to Bristol to look at the MC28, which saw a fair bit of coverage on here i believe.

If i had the money i would have one by now and would be asking Fontyyy to come down and fix it for me. Embarassed

right i am going to find this sense of humour thing...i hope they arent much as i can see this turning into an expensive weekend.

I have lots of bikes you could ride (RC45 is Sorn'ed right now so thats off the list) but it would be more fun if you dragged one of yours down.

I still havnt got round to fully finishing the MC18 Terra's fairings (same as you saw it last time but no one really notices) but the 'blade and MC21F3 are still kicking.

Looks like Fenton will be sleeping over at Hotel A'lee and I guess Fontyyy, Tom and Andy will as well so it could be a bit busy.

Will you and Mrs Wayne also be staying or just yourself?
