went for a spin last week, and on returning, after a cuppa and a fag ,couldn't start the bike.had to go to work,so thought i could sort it on my day off.i got a call at work from the ball and chain to say the bike's been blown over by the wind,no shed Crying or Very sad ,however when i got home and picked it up,no damage as it was covered,it started first kick, and has done so ever since.i will still strip the carbs for a look.i had been turning off the fuel tap but ever since i leave it on,and no problems starting since!!Ideas?

So now we know. If the bike won't start, push it on the floor and then enjoy years of trouble free riding.

Does that also mean you can go down 4 sizes on the mains and it won't seize? Worth a shot. Maybe push it over one more time first though just to be on the safe side.
