MC28 gauges went poop?!

Just the other day my lcd screen on my 28 just decided not to work anymore. It had had a blotch in it for a while though. Anybody have any ideas or should I just replace the entire screen. I also had a error 3 on it...tps, i assume its unrelated to my problem though.

On that note, anyone have a lcd screen for sale???

Mine went pop a few months ago, tried to get Honda to get me a new one, but the price made me wince. Best bet is to find a set of 2nd hand ones, which is what I did......good luck.

Err3 is the TPS, check the green wire connector next to the carbs. i quite often have this message when I've been re-jetting and removed the carbs a few times

thanks for the reply. Wink

yeah, OEM honda wanted about $600+ ouch!
prolly find a used one on yahoo japan or something.
As fort he error , it didn't start til I reconneted a 'dosconnected' wire in the loom box...(the box next to the RC motor with the bundles old wires) I thought it was weird.
