mc16 fuse

hiya guys,while reconnecting earth lead on battery the 20A fuse behind it blew as soon as earth lead touched terminal,then it did the same thing to my spare and i have no idea why can anybody help.
Also where can i get a spare from,or would i be able to use some 20A fuse wire instead

Dumb check: are you fitting the battery the right way round?

Why did you remove it?

What work has been done to the bike recently?

i removed old air box/battery holder to replace it with another one which still had the little tag which ironically holds the fuse block on Shocked

Battery was on the right way
