Here is the story

My MC21 had an MC18 PGM2 loom with pgm2 cdi when i first got it, after a 3 month search finally i found a PGM3 loom with PGM3 CDI. I was thinking to my self was time to smell the taste of an NSR, after installing putting on the PGM3 loom i notice that the Cables to the alternator/puls generator cccrraap... cant reach and plugs are deferent as well one thing leads to another. MC18 Generator installed as well. probably to fit the PGM2 loom. Dam, story still goes on. Long story short,
Can i modify the MC18 alternator/puls generator cables to fit to the MC21 PGM3 loom? First they are short and second the white plug doesnt look the correct pin layout.

Pleas guys help me as i don't want to quit at the last point. Good thing i have a lot of patients on this matters.

Im in the middle of putting a '28 motor into a '21 chassis, and have a similar story, however it sounds like it is a bit easier for me in that I was able to swap over the the bits that werent long enough for the original ones that were. I now have a '28 motor running a '21 flywheel, stator and ignition pickups. Time consuming none the less.

Sounds to me like either, a) you get your hands on the MC21 bits with correct length leads and plugs to go on your MC21 engine or, b) you get your wire cutters and soldering iron out and lengthen leads and make your own plugs yourself.

Not sure if the colour coding on the wires follows through between the 2 models you are dealing with, but they do between the 21 and 28.

Thats what i did last night.

adding connectors on the plugs i have extended the cables to the correct point. Yes is easyer that a fart but, but i was most worried about the MC18 Flywheel timing if is different than MC21 then i don't know i might make a damage.
