I've assemble the kick starter wrong somehow. I need to work out if the washer goes inbetween the meshing gears or on the end of the shaft up against the clutch cover seal. Any help would be great.

I pulled off the cover and i found that the ramp plate was cracked and the teeth on the starter gears worn. I replaced them and every time i put the cover on, the kick starter won't return on it's on. Loosen the clutch cover and i'ts ok. I got all the washers in the right place, but no gold.

Last time i was having trouble and i managed to get together by pre-tension the starter and then put the cover on. I'm ready to take this thing to the mechanic. I haven't needed to do that for about 6 years, very humbling. I give up.
