G.P.S Mod real benefit

Tue Mar 13, 2007 9:18 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Whats the real benefit of the G.P.S mod? i think changes the advance at 4,5,6 gear right?

After the mod the bike will rev differently on that gears as a resoult of more advance? Does this give any risk of detonation as the load is defferent on higher gears?
Can you pls suggest if is worth it? or leave it as it is?

thanks
James

Thanks Fenton

Got it, other question remains, is there any risk of detonation with this mod?

like it says on in the linked page mate "G.P.S. splices have already been performed to 1st gear to utilise the PGM-III's most aggressive ignition curve, but NSR-WORLD.COM strongly advises against this. The advanced ignition in the top gears is seriously likely to cause detonation"
