Do you know how it got jammed so far back? Are you sure its not just the oil seal stopping you from removing the push rod?

It got that far back through my stupidity was putting new plates in and put the wrong fibre plate in first so the push rod pin was not meeting the pressure plate so I decided to put an extra ball bearing in the push rod pin

Doh

Just incase anyone is interested or stupid enough to do this again it was pretty simple to sort out take the side casing off the bike then take out the 6 bolts or so holding the gearbox in give a gentle tap with a hammer on the front sprocket carrier the pressure was then released off the bar . then put bike back together again
