Or how long it'd last in our quest to set it up for Llandow... _________________ MC21SP Plaything

Hmmm, might be on to something there... at least if I set it up, it'd last the day! _________________ MC21SP Plaything

No, it would make 6bhp at 6000, then 190 at 6001, then back down to 34 at 6243rpm... Be realistic! _________________ NSR300R - Why did i ever have a 250...
Can't remember if it was Doohan or Rainey, but they said that the art of riding a 500 was to keep it above peak torque at all times, because If the tyre started to spin as it came up to peak torque the next time you opened your eyes you were in hospital.
And KR JR said in 2000 to Alan Cathcart who was testing his bike post season, that the trouble with a 500 is that you can open up to a quater throttle and usually have 80% of the power available, and the thing will start to spin up before you even know about...
And Schwantz in the early 90's claiming that he was spinning up at Hockenheim on the straight in 6th gear in the wet at well over 180... Nice! _________________ NSR300R - Why did i ever have a 250...
The Hockenheim one was actually Barros's RGV500. The speed gun showed 195mph or something, but the data logger showed 201mph, as they were taking the speed data off the rear wheel which was still spinning.
I just had the KSR110 spinning up, but only because I'd got the front brake squeezed as hard as I could with my legs in front of the pegs at the traffic lights.

I know someone with an RC45 that does that... on the A38! _________________ Andy.
