Fri Dec 03, 2004 11:07 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Is it cable or electric?

Either way, how is it wired up / where does the cable attach?

Cheers folks.

Check out the MC21 wiring diagram in the Workshop!

Andy, I have. I printed out the diagram but the wiring it shows is for the back light for it, not the actual connection to the engine.

It's electric, and has three wires. A power, an earth and a signal from the PGM unit.

You making a race loom or something?

I have an HRC loom on there with HRC ignition (PGM F3 from the RS I believe!), but the rev counter is not working. I know there is power going to the temp gauge cause that works, but I'll need to trace the rev counter wires back. Do you know what colours are + - and to PGM?

I'm going to make up a seperate lights and indicator loom as the HRC one doesn't have any of that.
