Can a 150cc owner be involve in this forum? Cause 250's in my country are kinda rare or I might say, extinct.
Anyway, here's some of the pics of my bike's current condition. Tell me what you guys think about it. Oh and by the way, I'm a Malaysian, staying in Malaysia. Nice to see a forum dedicated to NSR only.

I used to have a 150R in Indonesia, fast enough for there. Maybe you could uograde to a 150 SP like the ones from Thailand. Are there any in Malaysia.

Please can I ask that you either post links to your images, post smaller images, or thumbnails that link to the full-sized images, as there are still many internet users that do not use broadband connections.
Many people on the Forum will have indirect experience of the NSR150 as they own 300 big bore kits, based on the NSR150SP barrels. They are more likely to have seen the SP model though, with the single-sided Pro-Arm.
Of course the 250 is the most common NSR here, but it is nice to have people on board with insight into the 125, 150, and NS250/400 models as we'd like to be resource everyone if possible. (I'd love to get a UK MVX250 owner on board too!) _________________ Andy.

There isn't any SP lefts in Malaysia right now. Cause after year '97. The Malaysian GOV imposed a law on assembling bikes for 150cc and below to be done inside of Malaysia thus affecting the sales of 150cc market ni Malaysia at that time, till now. Honda didn't want to so SP didn't make it to Malaysia, I guess. But Kawasaki KRR 150 is build here and other 150cc and below bikes such as the Mito 125 and the Aprillia RS 125 and RS50.
Since all NSR 150's are made in Thailand, there is only a few of them manage to reach Malaysia but with a higher price tag compare to RR. Used RR in Malaysia costs RM 4,000 That's like USD$ 1,000, cash. Of course there are alot of SP converts from RR.
Try Singapore, they've tonnes of SP owner there. You can see them everyday. Even beat-up NSR 150 SP are seen in Singapore. Poor SP's.
I'd like a 150SP! Luke F had one in Thailand for about a year and it was great fun; perfect for Thai traffic. Hardly stock though... race pipe, 32mm carb conversion, little bit of port work. It was quite quick really, although the suspension used to groan a bit with me on it, and groan a lot with me AND Luke on it!! In fact, I'd say the NSR suspension groaned more than the suspension on the YSR that I used to rag round on for a while!! _________________ Andy.

I dare not to even touch the piping of my NSR RR cause I wanted it to be stock. As a collection. Furthermore, spare parts for RR are going extinct. Our Honda Distributor told me that RR is scrap out of their factory, no more RR's.
It's good to see another NSR on the road. I had one of the SP's here in Australia. Great for the purpose they were built for, but not for Australian conditions. If I could start a collection of toys, I would have one sitting in my shed.
I've got a Malaysian friend working in Sing and she is always dreaming of getting a bigger bike, always been eyeing off RGVs when she gets back to M'sia.
AAh a beautiful bike. I was going to get one but then they stopped the 7 speed transmission and reverted to the 6-speed found in the Planet _________________ If the rats eat my wiring one more time....

Insufficient fund. I'm currently a student and does not have a job to support for my bike accepts for regular allowance for mantainence.
Though I'm planning to fixed that. It cost about USD$ 250.00 in Malaysia here for the originals. Which I'll be going for. Cause before this, I was having an imitation cover set/fairings. Guess what? Shatter on the impact of hole and bumps on roads. Suck!!
Hi Barrenwizard. Which part of Malaysia are you from? I spent a little time out there when I was younger - Mainly KL and Malacca.
My wife has a 150SP here in the UK. Really great bike, though it doesn't get much use as my wife is more into horses than bikes really. Shame, but it does mean that I get to take it out occasionally . Surprisingly quick too.
Lol, in Malaysia, I hardly see females having 150cc and above. Unlike other countries where even girls are handling the ZX-14's. Damn...
Anyway, I'm having the RR, which is the double arm version compare to SP's single arm version a.k.a gull arm. That was meant for the endurance race cause its easy for them to change tyres. So there's nothing significant about it unless you're comparing the RR and SP's engine. Those 2 are different in BHP. Same for the width of the tyres too.
