As the title says here is a petition on a government web site to ban all bikes.

Read the comments in the left column .

I love our British sense of humor Laughing

One of my favourite replies...

"I'm Averyone, and so is my wife.."

Not everyone here will get that - especially one particular Aussie!! Very Happy

The funny thing is that from a fanatical ecologist's point of view, banning all internal combustion engined vehicles would be a good thing. Cars and bikes pollute the air you breathe with poison, they make loads of noise, the surrounding air temperature rises because of them, and the best (worse) bit is that they kill thousands of people every year.

I think that I'll strap a tank of nasty gasses to my back and rush around the city centre making loads of noise, firing off the gas and then killing people and saying "sorry mate, didn't see ya". Don't think it'd be long before PC Copper came to take me away.

Ban 'em all I say.

ban cows as well

Thu Aug 09, 2007 5:13 am » Post: #6 » Download Post

The average cow belches out 25 to 50 gallons of methane each day. Methane is a greenhouse gas that contributes to the growing carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere that fuel global warming.

On top of that they can carry strange diseases, like mad cow disease. Shocked
