NSR Misfire,HELP!

Wed Aug 08, 2007 6:03 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi Guys,I've just bought an MC21 that has done less than 500 miles since a full professional engine rebuild. It has now developed a misfire on the front pot.I've changed the plug,no change, swapped the coils over,no change, cleaned the carbs/jets and still no joy.If anyone has any other suggestions I would be grateful for some advice, cheers. Is the front plug sparking?

Whats the difference between an amateur and a professional rebuild?

It's a new battery.
The difference is the amatuer hopes he knows what he's doing and the pro supposedly knows. Not only that but I don't know many amatuers that can replate barrels and carry out porting.

How do you become a professional porter then? Is there a college or something you can get an NVQ in porting so your a " professional"? Very Happy
