Hi Guys, Time to pick your brains again, when removing the rear swingarm is there a special tool required to remove the castleated bolt on the left-hand side it has a locking washer on it. If a special tool was required can it be removed any other way?
Wouldn't it be a great idea to have a pool of specialised tools for anyone to use as and when required, maybe something for the future!! Thanks Guys.B
i used a thin piece of aluminium bar and a mallet to tap it round. Same process to tighten it afterwards. _________________ After years of moaning about immigrants now i am one...
It's very easy to miss if you use that method though, and scratch the frame. See it done!
It doesn't matter to me though... there's a bloody great graunch out of mine where a one-time "friend" decided to try and move it whilst lifted up on an Abba stand.
Glad I have a new frame to swap to one day. _________________ Andy.

Yeah, you gotta plenty careful. Safe option is to get the correct tool.
I've got a big 'ol graunch down my swingrm where it fell out of the padock stand while i was shuffling it about in the garage... D'oh! _________________ After years of moaning about immigrants now i am one...
