As seen in the other Llandow post South Coast Bikers are running a track day at the circuit. The date is confirmed as October 13th Saturday.
Wayne and i will be there with the team Mighty Eighteen MC18's.
A cut off date has been set for Sept 14th, so could anyone who also wants to attend please contact Loz from SCBC and book a place or three. He will be along some when to update this post.

The south coast boys (and girls) are a friendly bunch, so it promises to be a great day out. Would be nice to get some more two strokes out there.

Im organising a trackday at Llandow in South Wales.
Although other circuits are available for similar prices I think this would be a good one to get the ball rolling, then move on to bigger/better things.

As you can see if we aimed to do a saturday it would cost £2000. We will also need 2 paramedics but marshalls are included in the price.
This will make the final price £2650

In other words if we can get 34 riders signed up then it will cost less than £80 each.
The reason I say 30 as a ball park figure is that if we have 34 we will only need to run 2 groups rather than 3 so you will get ALOT more tracktime throughout the day.

If you have not riden on a circuit before please do consider this. I did my first trackday at cadwell a month ago and I was abit nervous going into it but absolutley loved it and I really think it has given me more confidence on the road because I now no how my bike behaves.

The circuit itself is not the more challenging but plenty of racers use it as has a good layout and the surface is meant to be pretty good too. I believe a few people already on the site have used Llandow before.

If you have any questions at all or suggestions please ask. This is the first time ive tried to organise a track event so please bear with me if I dont no the answer straight away.

We currently have 21 riders from SCBC but the more riders then the cheaper the day.

I will need a deposit from you asap and the full balance a week before the trackday itself.

Also...Who would be interested in photographs? My Bruv in law is a photographer so he may be able to do something for us for a cost if enough people are interested.

Basically it £10 a tent per night. Thats based on 2 adults so £5 each isnt bad at all.

I did have to laugh at the description of the area though:
"Our sheltered and secluded park is set in the heart of the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan , situated half way between the historical town of Llantwit Major and the quaint market town of Cowbridge"

As ive said before il be chasing money as of the 14th when we have a final list of numbers.

We're on 27 now so if we could find another 7 between both sites then that would make 34 riders meaning we would only have to run 2 groups (Loads more track time!) and the cost would only be £78 each.

Cool, that means you can help me re-jet my bike , I am planning on putting some standard barrels on it and the 030 card back in so that I can run it on pump gas.
