Help with the GPS, please?

Wed Oct 10, 2007 11:13 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi All

Trying to avoid Andy & Stephen banning me from ever PM'ing them again with all my questions, so posting it. Embarassed

How does a GPS switch function to send it's signal to the PGM-III on the MC21. Confused

I have an MC18 switch in my bike and there is only a single wire for neutral on it. Sad
What I need to know more is if I can wire the GPS plug to the PGM-III independent of the switch or is it integral to the function. Question

Thanx to All Very Happy
Garth

P.S. Alwyn, how come no reply, boet? I have WingDing(my stroker) stuck in my garage with part of an HRC harness and delimiter mounted with a few bits still dangling for lack of knowledge. Give me a scream sometime.

This should help you a little:

Delimited MC21 wiring diagram.

You'll see 4th, 5th, and 6th spliceed into 3rd (and earthed/grounded); just splice 1st and 2nd in too... or get a GPS switch! Someone must have one in a set of dead cases somewhere! Wink

Tons of gratitude. When I recover from buying the bits from you I pledge a donation to the site! Wink
