Not the inside...when I first got them what did I use to remove all of the flashing from the outside? I want to brighten them up again...I used some high temp clear coat on them way back when to keep em brite...didn't last...I want to re strip them and then just oil them up and cook em...sound about right? _________________ '93 MC21 250sp Repsol "Doohan"

Here is what I do to keep my steel jha chamber looking decent for my RS.
After each weekend, I use WD40 with scotch brite, clean them up real nice. Then wipe them down with contact cleaner. Them coat them with a 3in1 oil. They stay looking good and rust free. _________________ Charles Gallant
Clean them with scotch brite and the heat them up to temperture and coat in vegatable oil, after two or three applications a golden protective skin will form on the pipes that will stop rust and actually resists dirt sticking to.
No more need for scotch brite, just a re-oil every 3 months or so.
