Hey guys, might have just made a big booboo:( I just picked up a Marchesini magnesium well for a rs250 race bike that i am going to put on a street 250. I just realized the chain is on the other side of the bike (its the double sided swingarm race bike).
Are the rims directional? Can I flip the rim?
If not....does anyone need a new mag wheel for an rs250??....lol
if it fits the other way around id say its ok just check the wheel alighnment and add or remove spacers to fit. _________________ Honda nc23 CBR400 AERO 1986, 1990 honda NC23 Tri-Arm, 1987VFR400 NC24 Rothmans Rep, NSR250 MC16 1987, CL250s 1983. Thanks Matt! The rim is a 10 spoke mag....does not seem to be "directional" so switching the rim around should be no problem.
One thing I did not realize with the wheel is there in NO cush drive! I did not realize the later model (double sided swing arm version) rs250 do not use cush drives. The sprocket is bolted directly to the rim. This should make my street application an interesting ride!
