my forks are on full adjustment, have added extra oil and i still find them to soft, its an mc18 r5k
anybody know where i can get stiffer fork springs from
or anybody have any tips how to stiffen them up
I used MH racing to fettle mine. Revelation. I'm sure there's someone closer to you though, as they're near Corsham in Wilts. _________________ MC21SP Plaything

i dont know if this helps but i put a socket in the top of my mc16 forks to stiffen them up to suport my weight.
basicaly found two sockets the same size in my tool box that just fit inside the stantions and placed them in between the springs and the tops.
dont know if this helps you, it did effect overall travel but then again when i sat on it before it just pushed the forks down so i had less travel anyway. _________________ Honda nc23 CBR400 AERO 1986, 1990 honda NC23 Tri-Arm, 1987VFR400 NC24 Rothmans Rep, NSR250 MC16 1987, CL250s 1983. the springs inside the cb400 aero and the early cbr600 i know fit the earlier mc18 and are stiffer than the nsr springs dont know if that helps _________________ Honda nc23 CBR400 AERO 1986, 1990 honda NC23 Tri-Arm, 1987VFR400 NC24 Rothmans Rep, NSR250 MC16 1987, CL250s 1983.
