As many will most likely have noticed, a couple of threads have needed to be either locked or heavily moderated recently, and one very recent topic in particular deleted.
The Forum has slipped recently from what I want to be. For over 7 years I have kept this Forum and site strongly technically biased and clean enough for a few guys families here who like to look at the NSR pictures from time to time, and I intend to keep it that way.
I mentioned this more subtly a month or two ago, but now I'm making it more blatant...
DO NOT POST CRAP ON THIS FORUM.
You all know what is considered crap here, and if you don't, try using a bit of common sense. Read through old topics, get a grasp of what NSR-WORLD.COM is about, and then post responsibly.
PREVIEW YOUR POSTS.
It takes nothing to click the "preview" button and read your own post before you click the "submit" button. If you don't have time to preview your post, then simply wait until you do, or don't post it at all! Read through your post, see if it actually makes sense, and also make sure your images appear/links work etc. before you hit submit!
I don't care what other forums think of NSR-WORLD, but I do care about what regular users think, and the recent e-mails and PM's have prompted me to make OUR feelings known in this post.
Posts WILL be deleted from now on instead of being edited, and persistent offenders WILL have their account suspended without warning.
Finally, DO NOT embed high resolution images or images with large file sizes in pages. There is no need to post an image over 500px wide or 100k in size. If you need to exceed these limits, then use a thumbnail link or a text link. See this Photobucket example for image hosting with forum-friendly image code.
Your cooperation will not only be appreciated, but it will also save you the embarrassment of asking to have your account re-enabled... should you want it!! _________________ Andy.

The NSR-World forum is a huge technical resource for NSR information, and unlike many other forums, the majority of the guys/girls here actually know a thing or two about the bikes they ride, and the engine that powers their trusty steed.
Questions from simple to advanced will be discussed and answered without ridicule on this forum, so let's try and keep it rubbish free, and interesting viewing for everyone.
I was really surprised when I sew the post with the bikini... I like too woman...!!! But I don't like to see this kind of post's here in this forum...
I think you are 100% right... Keep the excellent job that you already do...
Many thanks for every help Andy...

Well, I did have to hold my tongue a bit reading Matt's post for fear of being guilty of doing exactly what I am trying to cut down on!
Don't get me wrong, a little light-hearted banter amongst threads is fine, and keeps the forum a fun and friendly place to be. All I am saying is I want to get it back to it technical roots. _________________ Andy.

I saw the picture in question, and at first thought
"Hmm, she's not that hot".
Then I thought
"I wont' delete that post so Andy can have a go, as I know he won't like this."
Oh and I think Andy is picking on me for posting pics a little over his desired size
Maybe it's time I add a little feature to the forums that will resize images posted to a size to fit in the window your viewing, and make it so you can click the image and it will display it at full size in a seperate window.
Oh, and maybe even add RSS feeds (since Andy bugged me for this a while ago I think, although... I think they may already be there?). _________________ Charles Gallant

No problem with a little topical in-thread banter. *See last on list for those without a sense of humour!!
RSS and picture auto-sizing would be good Charles, as would making the "location" box upon registration a required field. _________________ Andy.

Very glad you're stepping up and putting the foot down.
I originally found this site searching for a bike. Now that I have it, and the project bike, I come here for info and advice. I also stop in every now and then just to see if I can maybe help others out....
I DO NOT come here to see pics of friends and family members-girls-cars-nor other bikes(TZR's) ...
Once again, the very top of this page explains it all.
Thanks for trying to keep it a pure NSR site. _________________ MC21

You are of course right Andy, although a few non NSR, cheap V-Due ads in the classified section wouldn't bother me at all _________________ Poul

Hmm... I could never seem to get excited about the V Due personally. I think those silly exhaust pipes and the fact it wasn't a 4 cylinder put me off a lot.
Still, "each to their own" as they say. _________________ Andy.
