Yeah, but Steve, that's with 13,000 rpm available, back in normal mortal land 15/39 on my '28 which is 128mph at 12,000 rpm (that's all the rev's I'm going to see), is not quite tall enough at Donington (longest straight I've raced at), 16/39 would make 137mph but it doesn't get there so a 38 is called for. _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
On a stock bike I find 15/39 or 15/38 is pretty good on the road. It makes life alittle easyer when your on a fast A road and you dont want to be ragging the thing just keeping up with fast traffic. _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...
And as I'm a big pansey 15/44 (stock '28 ) is fine on the roadbike, it barely gets there anyway with it's 50 something bhp.. _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread

15/42 for fun tight twistys on the road with big wheelies. Biggest track 16/38. Still looking for somewhere to use my 36 @ 13000 _________________ 1995 A kit TZ 250

14/40 or 14/42 with the F3 box for 125mph or 118mph @ 12,000rpm respectively for me. In this day and age in the UK, where speeding is looked upon by the magistrates as worse than sexual assault, top speed isn't of concern to me.
Currently running 15/40 for 134mph at the moment but it's not convincing me, plus it makes 1st gear a bit of a twat around town as it's good for almost 65mph! _________________ Andy.

I'm running a 15/42-43 on my 21. Useless for top speed but great getting there! Still doesn't wheelie like my 60pony 28 did though... _________________ NSR300R - Why did i ever have a 250...
