eBay links ONLY in eBay topic in Classifieds. When eBay pay me for advertising the same money they charge me to sell, or the sellers of the items contribute/donate to the Site for the additional advertising, then I will allow it!

I have a good mind to disallow ALL eBay links due to their costs. I refuse to advertise and drive traffic to them.

i can understand that fully, anyhow we all know where ebay is !! so why fill the forum with needless posts.

Exactly! That's why there is one thread, and one thread only where an eBay link is currently acceptable. The benefit of it is that someone is always looking on there, and they will post an interesting item that may appeal to someone who may otherwise have missed it.

The allowing of the MVX250 link in a recent topic was purely based on the rarity of that bike. I know a few here (myself included) who would like one, but it's not the sort of thing we all go looking for on a daily basis, and could've easily been missed.

that is a fair and valid point, i am always watching ebay for bike stuff but i suppose not all look regularly at it.

ebay stuff needs to be kept to one single thread, this would seem to be harder than it looks
