Well, I'm always the first to admit that when it comes to the track, I'm a wussy little fraidy cat, however, I am always keen to give my support for 'meets' and take almost every opportunity I can to back a good excuse for a p*ss-up! :D
I know of a handfull of NSR guys that won't even need to be asked if they want to do Donnington - I could just sign on their behalf - so yes, I think it would be a popular event if the cost and timing are suitable.
I'll make every effort to be there should an event be organised - expect to see quite a lot of positive feedback on this thread!
sounds good to me
i will say one thing tho there are very strict on noise levels at donny so that may be something worth looking at
as far as i know all trackdays there are road silenced events
no worries on noise. i did a day on my nsr a year back and there were more 600s with full race systems there than you could shake heat seared piston at. how good would a two stroke frenzy at dono be, show those 4 stroke boys how its done!!!!!!!
The TYGA pipes make exactly 105db measured according to the ACU handbook. And there's the problem:
The ACU use a formula to calculate revs, which meant my bike was tested at 7200rpm.
The trackday geezers use 3/4 redline, which had me tested at 9000rpm on a trackday at Castle Coombe. The bike then made 108db and failed. Arse. _________________ MC21SP Plaything

Last year i did 2 trackdays at donington on the RC45 but this year they havnt even posted dates there yet and i was told (by them) that the limit was going to be 98db for trackdays this year. Its a real bummer as donington is ace really and would suit a 2 stroke.
