Today I picked up my NSR.
I've been lookin' for a nice one for sometime and I found one.
Its a 1992 MC21 SP - with some modifications done.
I collected it near Liverpool, rode it accross North Wales to Holyhead - and took the ferry back to Ireland.
Now I've fallen in Luv with it - NSR's are Brilliant Bikes.
But the sound from the Dry Clutch takes some getting used to - What are the advantages of a Dry Clutch Vs a Wet Clutch ?

Er... the noise?!
The dry clutch is a race derived. You can change the clutch plates in about 5 minutes, and without any need to drain the transmission oil. There's very possibly a slight performance gain too, as the clutch assembly doesn't have to drag itself through oil.
Please fill out your location in your profile, and welcome to the Forum. _________________ Andy.

Feel free to ask questions, this is one of the few places on the net you'll find NSR answers! _________________ MC21SP Plaything

The dry clutch also doesn't contaminate the oil like a wet clutch does. _________________ james

You will get to love the clutch rattle. It turns heads.
Half of the people think there is something wrong with the bike but the other half thinks its a genuine MotoGP racing bike
Especially at track days, you'll find yourself pulling the clutch all the time, when driving in the pits, just so that everybody gets to hear that lovely rattle. _________________ Poul

Well done on becoming a NSR owner Richie.
Being a 1992 MC21 SP - does it have the OE Rothmans Paint?
Are you getting some pics online? _________________ Rich
