front brake discs

i'm assuming mc21 and mc28 front brake discs are interchangeable. of course, there are fewer holes in the mc28 discs. any advantages or disadvantages? i have been offered mc28 discs for fitment to my mc21.

I don't think there is any advantage/disadvantage but the disks are swappable, if not the same....
