South Wales Sunday ride out

Fri Jun 27, 2008 11:43 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

I am planning a early Sunday morning ride weather permitting probably go for a 7am start to miss the traffic/law and it will be around the Usk, Abergaveny, Wye Valley area. So far 2x RGV's and an RD500. Anyone in the area who can drag themselves out of bed that early on a Sunday let me know.

Should be about half a dozen or so of us on strokers doing a trackday at Llandow on Saturday 5th July if you are passing, or fancy a quick run out to take the air Very Happy. Or alternatively phone up, book in and come join us Cool.

Same goes for anyone else that fancies it of course. I don't think we have any Hondas booked in so far. We are all booked into the Inters group AFAIK.

Cheers

I would love to mate, I am supposed to be dropping my bike off for a Dyno Run on saturday and not collecting it till the week after but I may try and delay it. It won't be up to a track day without being set up as I have a big issue with stuttering into the band (badly) since fitting the Tyga's (not a complaint just needs setting up).

What are the details, times etc?

Cheers

Is that excuse No 45 or 46 in the big book of Honda excuses? Laughing (ought to point out that I'm joking here for the hard of humour...).

Llandow is about 10 miles or so from Cardiff - near Llantwit Major if you know the area? http://maps.google.co.uk/maps? http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Llandow+circuit&ie=UTF8&ll=51.431391,-3.498352&spn=0.006635,0.021544&t=h&z=16

They are pretty leisurely at Llandow so the fun starts about 10, with a lunch break between 1 & 2, and a short break at 3 or so.

I'll be taking my 3MA out for a bimble round. There'll Also be a couple of RGVs, a 2MA, a 3XV, Martin77 on his fruity TDR, a KR1-S, and other special guests TBC... Very Happy

We'll be chasing down the big fours and trying to demonstrat to them that all those superfluos CCs and entirley unnecessary strokes are just plain surplus to requirements Laughing

See you there if you make it.

Cheers
