Difference between MC21 & MC28 Tanks

Is there any difference between the MC21 and MC28 tanks?

To the layman they seem very similar.

If there are any differences does the 28 tank fit on a 21?

Think the 28 Tank is a bit wider than the 21 but both tanks will fit on both bikes...

Some race blokes here also prefer the 21 to the 28 tank because then they can tuck their knees in higher?
