MC18 Rear Shock

Mon Jul 14, 2008 9:05 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Question Does anyone know what other rear shock fits the MC18 to lift the rear of the bike or is there a jack-up kit available for it?

Make some F3 link plates. That'll raise the rear about 25mm and stiffen it up.

MC18 - F3 Plates

Tue Jul 15, 2008 7:34 am » Post: #3 » Download Post

Thanks Andy,

You don`t happen to have a drawing with dimensions on it for the F3 plates for the rear suspension, or does anybody else have one.

Thanks,
Daz. Confused

It's in the technical resources section of the site.

F3 plates for shock linkage

Thu Jul 17, 2008 7:45 pm » Post: #5 » Download Post

Thanks Mick,
Just another annoying question. The drawing does`t have the dimensions for thickness off the plate and also the height, length and radius on the corners. Is the material also aluminium?

Thanks,
Daz.

A CBR 600 F3 will fit. Needs a little modification to the upper and lower bushings. there about 1 inch longer than the stock mc18 shock. I found an Ohlins F3 and put it on my mc18.
