I could see why your brakes failed the other week. I serviced the front master cylinder and calipers this weekend. The fluid in the calipers looked like treacle sponge. I guess that's why your brakes were spongy
The wheel will fit with the spacers inserted incorrectly, but the calipers won't line up on the disk - the wheel will lock up as you tighten the caliper bolts! _________________ Andy.

I tried looking at the one next to it but then took that apart.
Bought a third to copy but have already started to take that apart; where will it all end.
At the moment, I am not sure which spacers go with which bike.
