There are a few approaches to an NSR500, but only one as of yet that I have heard of that has been successfully ridden!
Projects so far include:
MC21 with CR500 motor
NC30 chassis with NS400 motor bored to 500cc
NS400 bored to 500cc with MC21 Gull-Arm, front forks, wheels, bodywork etc. to look like and NSR (2 known completed conversions)
MC21 with RG500 motor (seen photos of it being ridden)
May years ago (about 12 if I recall correctly) there was an MC28 in Motorcycle News here in the UK with 2 MC21 motors mounted in the frame, joined by a chain drive. The second motor sat on top of the first and the fuel tank was just a cover. I can't remember enough about it to comment more though! _________________ Andy.
