Anyone heard of this model ?The bike was yet to be put together having ,I guess,just arrived from Japan.Most of it was still wrapped but what I did notice was the frame.It had a brand name plate on the side of it ,something like alltech coloured gold and seemed quite big for a 125.The engin was water cooled and it came with a full fairing Is this some kind of tricked out NSR125 ? _________________ My Bikes;

We got NSR125F's and NSR125R's in the UK.
As far as I'm aware the R model is fully faired, the F model isn't and that's the difference.
Intended mainly I think for the European market where 12bhp 125's are a learner sized bike you can ride without a full licence. Hence they're quite big and not very sporty.
The go forever, never break and aren't very fast. _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
i agree about them never braking but not very fast ? 0-62 in about 5.5 seconds and i saw just over the ton on my R with the exhaust drilled out and the carb restricter plate removed. and to boot it had all 17 stones on top of it. they are a cracking Little bike but i whould say that because ive had 6 of them 4 jc20,s and 2 jc22,s
Don't quote me on it, but I think that's what the 150 motor was based on. Isn't that an alloy frame? I believe they were made in Italy and Spain.
The only one I've ever seen close up was in Red Baron BKK, but didn't have time to pay too much attention to it, and it was about 7 years ago so my memory is a little clouded... a bit like my judgement sometimes these days! _________________ Andy.
