One MC28 wireless question...help

Thu Oct 30, 2008 1:52 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi

In order to have PGM 4 system to control my NSR250 MC21. I have MC28 electronic system (MC28 wiring harness / PGM IV).
BUT the point is ~~~
The lock ! What i'm going to ask is, how to cut the MC28 wiring harness to take off the lock, because the MC21 frame doesn't have space to put the lock in to main freme.

please help if you know how to solve the problem.

Mod edit: "wireless"? "wiring harness" surely?

Do a search and you'll see that Andy has relocated his keyswitch to where the helmet latch is.

Just don't plug it (the steering lock) in, leave the whole thing out and just tuck the plug from the main loom into that little plastic box.
Everything else still works.
When I bought my second '28 it had '21 forks and no steering lock.

And no I don't understand nxrsr20's response either.

Sorry I thought he was going from a PGMIV to a PGMIII and didn't know where to put the keyswitch.

I'll go back and hide again Shocked
