MC28 - Honda to relaunch....

Take a look at this:

Oh well, it might not actually be Honda doing it, but what a timeless bike the NSR is, just some new bodywork and you'd sell them again today.

Cheers

hope they do bring another 250 out though it will probably be a 4t and that is not what a 250 is all about, the ring a ding ding is the best thing about 250s though there is talk about a new ya**ha 250 coming out and looks good but its let down will be the 4t engine oh and also its a ya*aha!!

It's... nice... but it looks like the current crop of four strokes. This is going to be the problem of any new 2 stroke - they would be obliged to base the look on the current look of MotoGP bikes, which are all four stroke.

Look how excited people get about the NSR when they declare it is derived from the track bikes of the time - can you really see someone being so passionate about a bike that had no direct link to racing, yet was abviously a 'hyper' sports bike?

There's no reason why a 2009 NSR (or Aprilia, or KTM) couldn't look like a 2008/9 GP250... why would you want it's looks to be based on anything else?

Personally I think it look bloody awful!

If they launched it today I'd agree, but if we're talking the start of a new developement then what would be the point? The 250GP class will be dead soon, and where would the marketing tie in be? Crying or Very sad
